Election of mayor for Cambridgeshire and Peterborough

Electors across the 6 council areas of Cambridgeshire and Peterborough go to the polls on 1 May 2025 to choose their next mayor. The person elected as mayor, along with the Combined Authority for Cambridgeshire and Peterborough, is responsible for delivering economic prosperity across the region, particularly in relation to housing, travel, employment skills and environmental improvements. 

 

Registering to vote and how to vote

To vote in the election for the Cambridgeshire and Peterborough mayor you must live in any of the 6 Cambridgeshire and Peterborough districts, and you have registered to vote by Friday 11 April 2025  Registering to vote is quick and simple, you can register online at www.gov.uk/register-to-vote.
