The Choose Your Mayor Website ("the Website") is maintained by Choose Your Mayor for your personal use and viewing. These Terms and Conditions apply to the entire contents of the Website under the domain name chooseyourmayor.org and to any correspondence between us and you relating to the Website. Please read these terms carefully before accessing the Website. Your use of this Website indicates that you accept these terms and this takes effect from the date of first access to the Website. If you do not accept these terms, do not use this Website.
1. The Website

2.1. You are permitted to view, print and download extracts from this Website for your own personal, non–commercial use on the following basis:

4. Your access to the Website
4.1. Choose Your Mayor endeavours to ensure that the Website is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. However Choose Your Mayor shall not be liable if for any reason the Website is unavailable at any time for any period.
4.2. Choose Your Mayor may suspend access to the Website in the event of system failure, maintenance, repair or for any other reason which in the opinion of Choose Your Mayor justifies the suspension of access.
5. Visitor conduct and material
5.1. If you transmit or post any information to this Website it will be considered to be non-confidential and non-proprietary (with the exception of Personal Data which is covered by the Privacy Policy). Choose Your Mayor therefore, does not endorse or make any representation regarding the material on these third party websites. 8.1. Choose Your Mayor generally endeavours to ensure that the information on the Website is correct and up to date. GM Elects does not however warrant the accuracy and completeness of the material on the Website and may make changes to the material on the Website at any time without notice. 9.2. Choose Your Mayor does not exclude or limit liability for death or personal injury caused by the negligence of Choose Your Mayor.

10.1. All personal data submitted to the Website by visitors will be processed in accordance with the principles of the Data Protection Act 1998 and the Website Privacy Policy. 1. The information we collect and how we use it
1.1. Electronic collection of information: If you are a user with general public and anonymous access, the Website does not store or capture your personal information, but logs the Internet Protocol ("IP") address of your computer. Choose Your Mayor may collect statistics using electronic methods relating to your use of the Website and these may be used to help Choose Your Mayor follow browsing preferences and improve future use of the Website. These statistics do not include any information that can be used to identify any individual.
2. How we protect your information
2.1. The internet is not a secure medium and it is important that you are aware that any information sent via the internet may be intercepted. If you send any information using the feedback forms, questionnaires or via email this will not be sent using a secure transmission method and may be read by others.
2.2. Any personal information collected by Choose Your Mayor using the feedback form will be held and processed securely using appropriate procedures and all staff and agents processing personal data are aware of their obligations under the Data Protection Act 1998. Choose Your Mayor shall only hold personal information for as long as necessary in order to fulfil the purpose for collecting the information.
2.3. Choose Your Major may transfer the management of the Website to a third party and in such an event you agree to your information being transferred/and or processed by the third party. Choose Your Mayor will ensure that any organisation managing the Website is contractually obliged to comply with the Data Protection Act 1998 and this Privacy Policy.
3. Updating your details
3.1. If any of the information that you have provided to us changes, for example if you change your e–mail address or if you would like us to stop processing your personal information, please let us know by sending an email to contact us or by sending a letter to Choose Your Mayor, Office of the CARO, The Grange, Nutholt Lane, Ely, Cambs, CB7 4EE.

4.1. By submitting your information you consent to the use of that information as set out in this Privacy Policy.
